The Joy Club has it's Monthly Meetings on the First Tuesday of Each Month at 11:45 AM

April: "Two Men and A Guitar" -Bill Atkinson and Robert Brinkley - covered dish
May: Cancer Survivor to speak- covered dish
June: "It Was His Love" -Becky Dollinger and Chris Roe -Singing and testimonies- Catered Meal
July: High Point Policeman and Gulf War Veteran -Ken Leonard to speak- Cook out
August: Rachelle Denny-Singing- Salad Luncheon
September: High Rock Lake at the Smith's -Hamburgers and Hot Dogs
October: Fred Roberts (Marion Hedgecock's Brother-makes and plays unique flutes- covered dish
November: We will have a local personality along with our Annual Oyster Stew
December: Dirty Santa using recycled items -local singer- catered meal
Adventures are at different times and dates throughout the month
April Adventure
Tuesday April 20th: A trip to the Barn Dinner Theatre in Greensboro to see a tribute show about Johnny Cash entitled, "Ring of Fire." Cost/person: $38.00 admission. Lunch is included. Time: Depart @ 12:45pm, Return @ 5:00pm
May Adventure
OVN-Thursday May 6-Friday May 7: A journey to Abingdon, VA to the Barter Theatre to see 2 shows. The shows are, "Patsy Cline, Always," and "Tuesdays with Morrie." We will eat lunch at local restaurants and stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Abingdon. Cost/person: approx. $120. Time: Depart 8:30 am on 5/6; Return 4:00 pm on 5/7.
June Adventure
Thursday June 17: A dinner trip to Dobson, NC to eat at The Depot Restaurant. Cost/person: Meal is on your own with prices ranging from $10-$20 each. Time: Depart 3:30 pm; Return 8:30 pm.
July Adventure
Tuesday July 27: We'll journey to Mt. Airy for a morning of fun and food. We will enjoy local venues such as the Mt. Airy Museum of Regional History and have lunch at the famous Snappy Lunch. Cost/person: $5.00 covers fuel and admission charges. Lunch is on your own. Time: Depart @ 8:00 am, Return @ 3:00 pm
August Adventure
Tuesday August 17: A wonderful journey to Boone to eat at the Daniel Boone Inn followed by a short trip to Blowing Rock for some shopping time at Shops of the Parkway. Cost/person: $22.00 covers your meal and fuel expense.
Time: Depart @ 8:00 am, Return @ 7:00 pm
